Who are you, and what do you do?

My name is Zahra. I am in my twenties, with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. For a while, I taught kids about robotics and engineering, and I worked as a UAV hardware integration and test engineer for a long time. I am also someone who enjoys looking up at the night sky and contemplating the infinity of space. Oh, and I also love nature and traveling. When it comes to space and travel, I also have some crazy desires like traveling to the Black Hole. But for now, I'm just writing. I'm always learning, reading, and researching information about space and sharing it through my namesake 'Zəhra'.

'Zəhra' is a fictional character I created to share information about space, and what I've researched and learned. And she is in space. The project called 'Zəhra Kosmosda', which combines space content in the Azerbaijani language with the possibility of finding information in our native language, has been supported by donations since the first day of its activity as a social initiative and continues to operate.

And 'Zəhra's shining even seen from the Earth, and this gets her 'The Rising Star' award from the Azerbaijan Women in IT Award (AWITA), by FEMMES DIGITALES-Supporting Women in TECH, on May 12, 2023. It is invaluable for me to see the adventure that I founded in 2022 with the 'Zəhra Kosmosda' platform shining and spreading light like a star, being appreciated and recognized. I hope that my journey will inspire all women (and all people) to rise and shine like a star in their own lives.

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

I have the best software trio: Paper, Notion, and of course, Google Chrome. Especially, I would like to highlight the Paper app; it is the best writing app maybe I have ever seen. As they said on their website 'Sexy, simple, beautiful'. And to manage all my work, projects, take notes, etc., I use the Notion desktop version. No comments about Google Chrome, you already know it; for me, the best web browser with favorite extensions - Google Translate, Pocket, Grammarly, and ForestApp.

I use all this software with my 'best friend' (that's what I call it) - MacBook Air M1. If, like me, you want to be able to take your 'best friend' everywhere you go, this laptop might be the best choice: light, powerful, and cool.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

Researching on my laptop with a cup of coffee in my spaceship while traveling in space! What would be better than this? That's all.
