Who are you, and what do you do?

Hi! My name is Claudia and I'm a photographer based in Valencia (Spain). I have studied photography, which is my passion. I really love all types of photography and I really enjoy each one, from underwater, fashion, beauty, product to portrait. Although lately I'm really loving concert photography! What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

I have my beloved Nikon D5600 and a variety of lenses, all Nikon branded.

The 35mm 1.8 which I love for portrait or concert photography.

The 70-300mm 4.5, perfect for nature.

And the 18-140 mm 3.5, which I use for a bit of everything.

When it comes to editing, lately I love Camera raw and Adobe Photoshop, although I also often edit with Adobe Lightroom.

Editing is one of my favourite processes in photography, and I would love to give a piece of advice: presets are very helpful, but every photograph is a story, so I encourage people to take their time when editing photographs to really tell what they want to say.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

They say that you don't need to have great equipment to be a good photographer, and in part I agree, you can take good pictures with bad equipment because inside you carry the knowledge, how to frame, the colours, the design, if you consume a lot of art, photography and cinema that you like and inspire you, you will end up learning a lot and that will help a lot, so yes, obviously you don't need much to be a great artist, just the desire, the love and passion for it.

I'm not rich, and I know I don't have incredible equipment, in fact my computer sometimes breaks down or runs slow, but for now I'm happy with what I have and I appreciate it, I know that unfortunately there are many people in the world who can't afford equipment like mine, so I value what I have.

But if I could afford it, I would love to have my own studio, with a good computer that allows me to work faster. I would love to have another camera with its aquatic housing to take better underwater photos.

And I would love to be able to continue doing each type of photography, I would love to do more fashion, beauty, be a still camera in cinema, and I would love to be able to photograph concerts by Aurora, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Wolf Alice...
