Who are you, and what do you do?

Hello, my name is Karolina. I'm from Ukraine. I have many hobbies, but I will tell you about makeup. I started like many girls when quarantine started in 2020. At first I didn't tell anyone or show my works because I was ashamed and afraid of being judged.Especially this fear increases when you live in a small town.

A little later I found online courses in a very cool academy, there I got basic knowledge in this field.Thanks to these people, I started to become more confident and not afraid to do creative things. In the fall, having gathered courage, I started running TikTok. But did not receive special interest from the audience.

Pumping my skills until 2022, I worked with some brands, collected 13 thousand followers in tiktok, I got a lot of cosmetics, but a full-scale invasion of my country changed all my plans. I was scared, I deleted many things from my pages. I started having skin problems that greatly affected my health and inspiration.

A little later, the situation began to improve, and around autumn I learned about Pexels. I decided that this could be a chance to distract myself and started posting photos of nature there, but she was not very interested in the program's algorithms.Then I decided that I should not waste time and started using photos of my works.Oh yes, I remember that feeling when the platform starts promoting your photos. Unbelievable. The craving for art appeared again, there are so many ideas you don't know where to start.So I still have a lot to do)

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

I shot most of my work on my phone. Originally it was iPhone 7 now it's XR. But when I'm not lazy, I use a camera. It's an old one from Sony, of course everything looks much better with it. But it is the light that makes the picture voluminous and saturated. I use Yongnuo YN-300 III. Believe me, it is better to overpay and immediately enjoy the quality, rather than take a ring lamp and be very sorry. Checkout my makeup and shots -

What would be your dream/dream setup?

My dream? Good question.Two years ago, I dreamed more, but later I began to set goals for myself and achieve them. But one dream is unchanging. Make content regularly. This is a real problem for people with manic and depressive phases.
