Who are you, and what do you do?

Hi. I am Lipika Acharya, compassionate Physics teacher with 8 years of experience. Firstly I joined as a Guest Lecturer in Electronics department in a degree college, after spending the first five years there, now I’m working as a Post Graduate Teacher of Physics since the last three years in a Senior Secondary School named Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Delhi. I am passionate, ambitious and driven for the success and growth in my work.

My primary goal is to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of the principles that govern the natural world. In the classroom, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students feel comfortable asking questions and participating in discussions. I encourage active participation and collaboration, as I believe that learning is most effective when students can exchange ideas and learn from each other.

Beyond teaching in the classroom, I also provide one-on-one support and guidance to students who may need extra assistance or have specific learning needs. I keep track of their progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve and reach their full potential.

As a person, exploring is what I do best. I love to explore the world around me. I deeply believe travel makes you richer, not in your wallet, but in your intelligence and compassion. Not to mention, roaming this planet makes you realize your full potential and helps you learn what makes you truly happy.

Now here I am. You can connect me in Instagram, linkedin.

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

As a Physics teacher, I am continually exploring innovative teaching methods and staying updated with the latest developments in the field of physics. I attend workshops, conferences, and professional development programs to enhance my teaching skills and enrich the learning experience for my students. To fulfill all these things I used my favorite ONE PLUS mobile and ASUS TUF GAMMING F15 Laptop, One Plus and BOAT headphones.

Mostly I’m using MS Office for my teaching purpose. During online teaching I used Google Classroom, Google meet, Zoom, Cisco webEx, Adobe Reader etc.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

In my dream setup, I would have access to a vast collection of physics-related books and resources, allowing me to create diverse and engaging lesson plans. I would also incorporate technology-driven tools and simulations to enhance the learning experience and make abstract concepts more accessible.

Beyond the physical setup, my dream is to cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to explore their curiosity and ask questions fearlessly. I aspire to be an approachable and inspiring mentor, helping my students develop critical thinking skills and a deep appreciation for the beauty of physics.

Furthermore, collaboration with fellow educators and participation in professional development programs would be crucial aspects of my dream setup, as continuous learning and sharing of knowledge will keep me up-to-date with the latest advancements in physics education.

Ultimately, my dream as a physics teacher is to nurture a new generation of scientifically literate individuals who not only excel academically but also carry their passion for physics beyond the classroom, positively impacting the world around them
