Who are you, and what do you do?

I'm Nishkarsh Raj, and I work as the Principal Evangelist and Consultant at StatusNeo. I am extremely proud of becoming one of the youngest GitHub Star all over the world. I also do a fair amount of speaking at conferences, often about Open Source, DevOps, and other things related to tech culture. Apart from my work life, I spend time (and hate myself for it) watching shows on Netflix and playing video games. I have a huge passion for traveling the world - my dream is to be a digital nomad.

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

At work, I switch between workstations. I have a 13' MacBook Pro 2020 Model with M1 Chip with 256GB SSD and 16GB memory. Complimenting it, I have another 16'' MacBook Pro 2020 Model with Intel Chip with similar configurations. I have an adjustable laptop stand to keep my devices at the right height. I've got a RedGear DragonWar mouse and RedGear Grim v2 Keyboard. The JBL LIVE 460NC headphones take care of all my music-listening needs at the office.At home, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Generation 6 Laptop with 256GB SSD and 16GB memory. I primarily use it for my gaming activities. My mobile phone is an iPhone 11. For ease of access, I use an Elgato Stream Deck (15 KeyCaps). For securing my life, I use a Yubico YubiKey 5 NFC Two Factor Security Key.Speaking about software, I start my day catching up with my emails on Outlook and Gmail. Then I set my iCal for planning my entire day.I spend my day using VSCode, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and DevOps-related tools.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

My dream setup the original 2018 setup for Ninja (Tyler Blevins) that RedBull designed for him. Jokes apart, I would love to have a complete Apple Ecosystem to make my life easier. For fulfilling my love for gaming, I would love to assemble a PC in the future with the latest technology at that time.
