Who are you, and what do you do?

Hello! I'm Ravilova Gunel, an artist proudly representing Azerbaijan. Art has been an integral part of my life right from my earliest days. Growing up in a family of artists, I was drawn to the world of creativity, and my passion for drawing emerged at a remarkably tender age, around 2 or 3 years old.

Though my artistic journey took an unconventional path at one point, I ventured into the fields of economics and law. However, the artistic genes and the unyielding desire to create proved to be the driving force in my life. Ultimately, I made the courageous decision to forsake my previous pursuits and wholeheartedly embrace my true calling – art.

Through my artistic endeavors, I've had the privilege of witnessing my works find a home in numerous esteemed museums and private collections. Each painting is a reflection of life itself – an exploration of our environment, a portrayal of emotions that resonate, a celebration of love and family bonds. Moreover, my creations delve into the tapestry of society, narrating stories through the lens of proverbs and sayings, deeply rooted in our culture and traditions.

For me, painting is not merely a profession or a hobby; it is a way of life. Every brushstroke, every blend of colors, and every detail infused into my art carries a piece of my soul. It is through these paintings that I express my thoughts, my experiences, and my connection to the world around me.

Art grants me the incredible ability to communicate with others, to evoke emotions, and to ignite thought and contemplation. The joy and fulfillment I find in creating are unparalleled, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to live my life immersed in the world of art.

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

I work in the style of painting with acrylic paints on canvas, and I also create mosaics and design accessories. Additionally, I utilize social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter for promoting my work.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

My dream is to exhibit in good galleries all over the world, open a personal exhibition with salaries and become famous for my work all over the world. After all, they are very interesting, but many do not understand them.
