Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m Rena Akhmedova, a photographer, film director and director of photography. Also I’m a musician, an organ player. For my 21st birthday, I gave myself a Kiev4 film camera. From that day I opened a new page in my life. I realized that I wanted to capture those shots that show the inner state of a person, a city, a country, etc. In the summer of 2022, I participated in the 'Copenhagen architecture festival' with two short films 'Behind closed doors' and 'The darkness in the light'. I had the honor to participate in the premiere of my film in Copenhagen. It was a very big motivation for me. With the return, I participated with 'Cinesports' in the festival of short films in Baku and shot my third short film 'Cenesthesia'. Also all this time I was engaged in photography. What hardware(tools) and software do you use?
My main camera is Fujifilm X-E3 and edit them in Lightroom or in Photoshop on my laptop, but I also use my iPhone camera with Dazz Cam presets when my camera is not with me.
What would be your dream/dream setup?
My dream is to improve myself in the field of cinema and photography.Because of I’m self-educated director of photography, i have one more dream. It’s professional study in Berlin film school.
