Who are you, and what do you do?

I am Shivani Parashar, from Delhi. I am a 2nd year college student currently pursuing Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology. I was always interested in topics related to human behaviour, emotions, and mental processes. And this strong interest for understanding human behaviour and mental processes led me to develop a keen interest in assessing, diagnosing, and understanding how to provide therapy for individuals with psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and addiction. By studying about topics related to cognition and emotions, I want to have understanding of these disorders in order to offer effective treatment options and support individuals on their journey towards improved mental well-being.

What hardware(tools) and software do you use?

To read articles and researches on various I use my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet as its portability allows me to access information wherever I go. On the other hand, when it comes to working on assignments, my laptop provides a more efficient and productive environment with its larger screen and keyboard. Additionally, online forums and discussion boards helps me to engage with other students who may have a deeper understanding of the subject matter, which provides further clarity of the topics.

What would be your dream/dream setup?

A dream set up would include ample opportunities for professional development and continuing education. And having my own private practice as a clinical psychologist, being able to establish treatment methods and tailoring them according to each individual's needs.
